A pro football player suddenly becomes a single father in The Game Plan
You wouldn’t think a little girl could possibly boss around a professional football quarterback, now would you?
But that’s exactly what happens in the comedy The Game Plan, starring former pro wrestler Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
The Rock plays Joe Kingman, a tough-as-nails quarterback who is used to calling the shots. He leads his team to victories week after week, and as a bachelor his only concern is taking care of his beloved dog, Spike.
Life’s great...that is until a little girl knocks at his door.

It turns out Joe’s ex-wife became pregnant just before she and Joe got divorced and never told Joe that he had a daughter named Peyton. And now the seven-year-old Peyton needs her daddy.
Peyton comes to live with Joe, who doesn’t have the faintest idea how to take care of a little girl. And while learning to be a caring father is the right thing to do, Joe worries his teammates may think he’s lost his tough edge.
But Joe shouldn’t worry, cause being a good father is the toughest job of all!
The Game Plan opens September 28.
