Fans of author Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson series are abuzz over this movie adaptation of the first
book. The plot focuses on 12-year-old Percy Jackson, who discovers he is the son of a human mother and Poseidon, the Greek God of the Sea. Percy is sent to Camp Half-Blood to hone his skills, but his summer fun is cut short when Zeus accuses Percy of stealing his main thunderbolt, the Master Bolt. Percy is innocent and must find the real thief before war breaks out between the Gods.

Alvin, Theodore and Simon are back in this sequel to Alvin and the Chipmunks. We’re not sure about all the hi-jinks that take place in the movie, but we do know that the male chipmunks meet their female counterparts, the Chipettes. The Chipettes — Brittany, Eleanor and Jeanette — are singing competition for Alvin and the Chipmunks, but perhaps they are more than that...
