Aliens Among Us

In Race to Witch Mountain, two aliens — masquerading as teenagers — need a cab driver’s help to find their stolen spaceship

They’re aliens, and they just crashed their spaceship into a place called Witch Mountain. Located in the Nevada desert, 150 miles from Las Vegas, Witch Mountain is known to be a place where strange, unexplained phenomena occur.

But an innocent cabbie (played by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson) has no idea what he’s getting himself into when he picks up Sara and Seth. He soon finds out when their cab is chased by ominous, dark vehicles and Seth has to stop one of them…with his body. Sara, on the other hand, has the ability to converse with animals telepathically and makes friends with a stray dog.

Seth and sara let the cabbie in on their secret and he in turn helps them run from the government, mobsters and other aliens, all of whom want to catch the childlike extraterrestrials before they can reach Witch Mountain and free their ship that’s locked inside.

The movie is very loosely based on the movies Escape to Witch Mountain and Return from Witch Mountain of the 1970s and the series of books, but much of the story has been changed for this high-tech update.
