Junior Movie Reviews

In the Winter issue of Famous Kids we asked you to send us your movie reviews and you didn't let us down!

Bolt

“I saw the movie Bolt, and it was awesome! My favourite part was when Bolt used his super bark to save Penny from the fire on the TV set! Bolt’s friends Mittens and Rhino are the best. They’re very funny and exciting! I recommend this movie to people who like action, humour and some emotional moments!”

Beverly Hills Chihuahua

“A month ago I saw Beverly Hills Chihuahua. Even a month later I remember the movie. The funniest part for me was when Chloe, the Chihuahua, puts her dog food in a lady’s shoes. And also when Chloe barks…Really Loud! I would like to see it again. It’s a great movie, go and watch it!”
Sierra H. Regina, SK

“There is at least 1 scene in each movie that is not too entertaining. And yes, that is a bit of a problem. You want viewers to LOVE it, right? Well, not in BHC! I was entertained the WHOLE film. If you have not seen BHC, I recommend you do so soon. It is just the best movie I have ever seen. I like how it is not plain comedy, but has a mix of drama, action, adventure, and even a little bit of romance. I recommend it for all ages! This film is a MUST SEE!”

Marley and Me

Marley and Me was a great movie! It was funny, sad and cute all at the same time. Most of the time I was laughing, but I did cry once. My favourite part was when Marley was out the car window walking on the side of the road. I recommend this movie to anyone with an urge for a little adventure.”

The Tale of Despereaux

“I think the movie was good. The bad thing about the movie is that it isn’t like the book, and you couldn’t use your imagination like you could when reading the book. I liked the movie because some of the characters were brave. I like the book better because the movie left out a lot of characters like the one-eared rat Botticelli. Also, the book uses richer vocabulary than the movie. The movie also mixes around characters, like Roscuro, who was evil in the book, but was good in the movie. I think seeing the movie was a great opportunity!”
Emily S. Toronto, ON

Bedtime Stories

“I loved Bedtime Stories a lot because it had a hilarious story that was creative, full of imagination and hilarious. Adam Sandler was hilarious. My favourite part was when it started raining gumballs. You should see Bedtime Stories. If not in theatres on DVD. You will love it, I guarantee it.”
