It’s going to be a 3D invasion with more 3D movies making their way to your local movie theatre in the coming year. Look for Monsters vs. Aliens to hit the big screen March 27, 2009. The film focuses on a girl named Susan, who is struck by a meteorite from outer space and grows into a 50-foot monster. She gets nicknamed Ginormica, and the American military kidnaps her and hides her with a group of other weird monsters, such as the ape creature The Missing Link and Dr. Cockroach, Ph.D., the scientist who’s grown a cockroach’s head. But these freaks are called on to save the world when giant alien robots land on Earth and threaten the destroy the planet.
