Green Lantern Powers Up
Superman and Batman are DC Comics’ most famous heroes, but their pal Green Lantern is stepping into the spotlight with the release of this summer’s original DVD animated movie Green Lantern: First Flight and these new action figures, which go on sale in December.
There are three Green Lantern figures available — one wearing his classic Silver Age tank-top uniform, one wearing his new uniform and a Translucent Power Glow version. Each figure stands approximately 8" tall.

Selena Gomez’s turn.
The star of Disney Channel’s Wizards of Waverly Place is set to appear in the movie Beezus and Ramona,
based on the 1955 book by Beverly Cleary. That’s right, a children’s
book written 54 years ago is being made into a movie. Gomez will play
Beezus. Her real name is Beatrice, but her younger sister, Ramona,
couldn’t say the name Beatrice when she was little and the
mispronounced name stuck.
Poor Beezus, she has to
babysit Ramona a lot, and little Ramona has a way of getting into all
kinds of trouble, which drives her big sis crazy! Look for the movie to
hit theatres in March 2010.
