Season’s Greetings and Happy New Year! The holiday season is a special time to focus on family and friends and begin the year with renewed focus and energy. I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of you the best in the coming year.
2007 was an extremely exciting year for Cineplex Entertainment. In the spring, we launched SCENE, our new entertainment loyalty rewards program, across Canada. This card-based program gives members an opportunity to earn points towards free movies and other entertainment rewards simply by going to the movies or by doing their everyday banking. There are numerous benefits to being a SCENE member and we encourage you to join if you haven’t already done so by visiting www.scene.ca. We also enhanced our website, www.cineplex.com, to make it more user-friendly and interactive by adding increased search capabilities, the latest movie and entertainment news, theatre promotions, contests and movie listings for all of our theatres, in addition to an online version of Famous magazine.

Our goal is to provide you with an exceptional entertainment
experience, so in addition to great movies, we have also continued to
expand our alternative programming at our theatres. From NHL hockey
games to opera performances broadcast live from the Metropolitan Opera
in New York City, to various concerts being shown on our big screens,
you have a variety of entertainment options from which to choose. Last
year, for the first time ever, we partnered with The National Ballet of
Canada to show The Nutcracker, a beloved holiday tradition, at many of our theatres across the country.
Just
in time for the holiday season, we opened a new prototype design
theatre, where guests can now enjoy bowling, a sports lounge, three VIP
auditoriums, child-minding services and more — all under one roof,
making this the entertainment destination. |
These initiatives are indicative of our commitment to providing you with the highest level of customer service.
