While this may be the first Simpsons movie, the Simpsons are very familiar with movie stars.
When Albert Brooks lent his pipes to RV salesman Cowboy Bob in Season One he had no idea he’d set a new standard in cool cameos.
While many stars have appeared as bulbous, yellow versions of themselves, others have gone deeper to take on fictional roles. Can you match these stars with their characters?

World domination
Dan Castellaneta isn’t the only actor to voice Homer Simpson.
Yes, we know Castellaneta’s been Homer since the show debuted as filler on The Tracey Ullman Show. What you’re forgetting is that The Simpsons is dubbed into many languages, including Spanish, French, German and Japanese.
In the German version Homer is voiced by Norbett Gastell, in Spanish it’s Humberto Vélez and in Japanese it’s Toro Ohira. French is a bit more complicated — while Philippe Peythieu provides Homer’s smooth French dialect in France, to get the right inflection for La Belle Province Hubert Gagnon was brought in to provide the unique Quebecois intonation.
